NABJ CONVENTION SHIRT
This T-shirt design was commissioned by my brother, Philip Lewis, President of the Washington Association of Black Journalists chapter and Deputy Editor at HuffPost. The goal was to create a bold 1990s-inspired graphic celebrating Washington, D.C. and Black journalists attending the NABJ Convention in Atlanta. The illustration shows a group of journalists traveling from D.C. to Atlanta, using bright colors and expressive characters to capture the energy of classic 90s event tees.
